Paul Henry Lucas Tuesday, September 15, 1931 – Thursday, December 7, 2017

Paul Henry Lucas 86, of Princeton passed away on Thursday December 7, 2017 at his home. He was born on Tuesday, September 15, 1931 in Owensville, IN to Noble and Lydia (Blesch) Lucas, both of whom preceded.
Paul attended school in Owensville graduating in 1949. Upon graduation he entered the US Army and was a member of the 82nd airborne division.
On October 4, 1988, Paul married Betty L Lankford in Owensville, IN, who survives.
Paul worked at Emge Meats in Fort Branch retiring after many years of service. For over 50 years he was the local Electrolux sales rep and repairman. He was a member of the local Jr Achievement chapter and enjoyed spending time with his family

Paul is survived by his wife Betty of Princeton, IN 3 sons; Mark Henry Lucas of Augusta, GA, David Nathan (Darlene) Lucas of Harviman, TN and Philip Wayne Lucas of Portland, OR, stepsons Douglas H. (Kay) Lankford of Punta Gorda, FL and Bradley R. Lankford of Plymouth, IN. Other survivors include daughter Jennifer (John) Meadows of Fort Branch, IN; stepdaughter Karen S. Schear of Wabash, IN, brother Robert (Beverly) Lucas of Owensville, IN and sister Bonnie Cook of TX, 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, stepson Carbon Earl Lankford and sisters Mary Lou and Emma.

The family has entrusted Doyle Funeral Home 520 S Main St, Princeton with arrangements.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Doyle Funeral Home located at 520 S. Main St, Princeton, IN 47670 with David Lucas officiating. Internment will take place in Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton with the local Retired Veterans Organization performing military honors.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 4:00 till 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
