Nolan Joseph Loehr – 94 Thursday, December 20, 1923 – Thursday, July 12, 2018

Nolan Joseph Loehr 94, of Fort Branch, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at his residence. He was born on Thursday, December, 20, 1923, in Mackey, IN to Raymond C.F. Loehr and Lennis Blanche Ringham Loehr, both of whom have preceded.
Mr. Loehr married the love of his life, Miss Emma Mae Heldt, on February 18, 1947 in Vanderburgh County, IN. She preceded him on December 1, 2016. Nolan was a lifelong area farmer and the first in Gibson County to practice no-till farming. He was an avid reader and a dedicated listener of WRAY radio. His confirmation was at St. Matthews United Church of Christ in Lynnville where he attended as a youth. Mr. Loehr is survived by sons Harvey (Velma) Loehr of Franklin, IN and James (Julie) Loehr of Ft. Branch, IN. He is also survived by daughters Shannon (Kenny) Howe of Columbus, IN and Sherri Doan of Princeton. Other survivors include 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Emma and brother Marlin Loehr.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Doyle Funeral Home located at 520 S. Main St. Princeton, IN 47670, with Pastor Tammy Scheller officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 12:00 noon until time of service at 3:00 p.m. Doyle Funeral Home located at 520 S. Main St. in Princeton has the honor of having charge of the services.
