Mildred M. Braun Thursday March 5, 1936 – Saturday November 5, 2016

Mildred M. Braun 80, of Princeton, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. She was born on Thursday, March 5, 1936, in Somerville, IN to Floyd and Eva Meier.
Mildred worked for 40 years before retiring from Potter & Brumfield in both assembly and shipping/receiving departments.
On February 16, 1957, she married Richard Braun who preceded her on December 20, 2010. Mildred has been a lifelong area resident and attended the Oasis Assembly of God Church in Princeton. Mildred has always led an active live and participated in the local Garden Club and the Quilting Club. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing cards with her lady friends at the local Dairy Queen.
She is survived by 2 sons, Kerry (Patti) Braun of Hazelton, IN and Greg (Tanna) Braun of Ridgeway, IL. She is also survived by brothers, Bob (Genny) Meier of Newburgh, IN and Tom (Beverly) Meier also of Newburgh and sisters; Wanda Armstrong of Mt. Olympus, IN, Marge Dyson of Princeton, IN and Julia (Jay) Davidson of Hazelton, IN. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; Andy Braun, Kylena Page, and Kara Braun as well as 2 step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.
She is preceded by her parents, husband, Richard and son, Dennis. She is also preceded by brother, Richard and sister, Frances.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Doyle Funeral Home located at 520 S. Main St, Princeton, IN with Pastor Mike Marsh officiating. Internment will take place in Columbia White Church Cemetery of Princeton.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 2:00 P.M.
The family suggests memorials be made to Columbia White Church Cemetery of Princeton.
