Jerry Whitehead was a good friend. We met at the Southwestern Indiana Daylily Society where the “Princeton Macias” led by Jerry and Nick Michas along with their lovely wives Donna and Peg were instrumental in making SWIDS a large fun group of day lily growers and lovers. Jerry made sure that we worked hard, but had great fun.
    Thanks Jerry!
Jan and I send our condolences to Donna and the family. His smile is who he was.

    Donna and family,
We share in your grief over the loss of Jerry. He was my classmate and friend; we had a special relationship when he was the quarterback and I was the center on the 1954 Princeton High School football team. In more recent years we became closer because of our shared faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My wife, Nancy, especially wants you to know how much she enjoyed talking with Jerry about our shared conviction and belief in Christ. Jerry was such a strong believer. He will be missed in this world but is doing awesome in the next. Blessings and Peace to you all. Richard and Nancy Cleveland, Lebanon, TN.
