Chester David Royal 4/21/2014

Chester David Royal age 71, of Princeton, IN, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 at the Deaconess Hospice Care Center Located in Evansville, IN. He was born November 16, 1942 in Bicknell, IN to Roy and Louise (Gasser) Royal. David was a warehouseman for Elston Richards Inc. in Evansville IN for many years. On March 16, 1963, in Vincennes, IN, he was married to Janice F. Miller. Together they were members of Princeton Holiness Tabernacle of Princeton.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Janice Royal of Princeton, IN, Son, Tony (Faith) Royal of Philipsburg, PA and daughter, Kim (Jim) Slater.
Other survivors include brother, Roy Jr. (Linda) Royal of Evansville, IN and sisters; Jane Royal of Vincennes, IN, Linda (Nip) Miller of Sullivan, IN, Liz Thurston of Vincennes, IN, grandchildren; Angel Slater of Princeton, IN, Brian Slater also of Princeton, IN and Sherrie Royal of Philipsburg, PA.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Doyle Funeral Home located at 520 S. Main St., Princeton, IN 47670 with Revs. Larry Meadows and Tony Royal officiating. Internment will take place in Owensville Cemetery, Owensville, IN.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M.
Due to family members with severe allergies the family is asking that artificial flowers only be sent. Memorials may also be made to the Deaconess Hospice Group with envelopes available at the funeral home.     wonderful husband and father, always enjoyed getting to visit with him and will always remember how much fun he had when I took him for a cruise in my old limousine. He riding on streets of gold now!!
